Competitive socialising has exploded over the last five years, and so has the number of venues competing for the same audience. Bold brand identity isn’t a nice-to-have in this sector, it’s how you win the weekend.
We’ve built the brand for Roxy Leisure, one of the UK’s biggest competitive socialising operators, alongside King Pins, Star Pins, HUKD Golf and more. Each one needed a visual identity that could hold its own on a billboard, a neon sign, a pint glass, a social post and a 20-metre venue frontage, all while staying unmistakably itself.
Based in Leeds, working nationally. We’re designers first. Every brand we build starts from your audience, your venue and the feeling you want people to leave with, not from a Pinterest board.
From logo and visual identity through to signage, merch and guidelines, everything your brand needs to show up consistently.
Logos, marks, typography systems and colour palettes built to flex.
From naming new venues to defining what the brand stands for.
Brand identity translated into physical spaces.
All the touchpoints customers actually pick up and photograph.
Documented systems so your team can apply the brand consistently.
We stick with you through rollout, not just the reveal.
A selection of brand identity projects for competitive socialising venues, from ground-up launches to full rebrands.
Brand identity in this sector demands more than good design and here’s why venues keep coming back to us.
Competitive socialising brands need more than a neat logo. We build identities with the boldness, wit and personality to work across venues, merchandise, social and everything in between.
The brands we build don’t break when the third venue opens. We think in systems; colour, type, tone, photography; so growth doesn’t mean starting over.
We’re one of the few agencies that does both properly. Brand and website built by the same team means the identity lands consistently across every touchpoint from day one.
No 60-page decks. No jargon. We work fast, we show you real work early, and we keep the whole process honest and collaborative.
"We had a disconnect in design quality between our customer-facing assets and our websites. Our websites looked outdated and no longer on brand. Little Green Jesus was able to fully align our brand across all aspects of the business including the website. When a company grows it is important that no aspect gets left behind. This is what Little Green Jesus was able to do for us, It brought our brand and our brand DNA in front of our customers every single time they visit the site.️"
"Working with Little Green Jesus has been fantastic for the team here at King Pins. Danny has been with us from the start, working on branding, marketing assets, and on-site materials. On top of this work, Danny also worked on the design and rebuild of our website – with everything delivered to a high standard and within the required timeframe. The work on our brand and online presence has brought us eye-catching, engaging, and informative content across-the-board, helping us to achieve impressive brand awareness figures following our successful launch activity throughout summer 2023. ️"
From first conversation to final files, here’s how a branding project works with us.
We get under the skin of your venue, your audience and what the brand needs to do, before we sketch a single thing.
Bold, considered identity work built around your venue’s personality. We show you real creative early and keep the process collaborative throughout.
Your brand applied consistently across every touchpoint; signage, print, merch, digital. Built to hold its own everywhere it shows up.
We don’t hand over the files and disappear. Guidelines, team training, ongoing support, we’re here for whatever comes after the reveal.
No, but it’s one of our strongest sectors. We’ve built brands for bowling venues, indoor karting, indoor golf, AR dodgeball, crazy golf and more. If you’re launching or rebranding in this space, we’ve almost certainly done something similar.
Yes. Naming is one of the trickiest parts of launching a venue and we’ve been through it with multiple clients. We run proper naming sessions, test shortlists against domain and trademark availability, and help you pick something you’ll still love in five years.
It depends on scope. A focused identity project typically starts from around £3,500. A full ground-up brand with naming, strategy, full visual system and guidelines is typically up to £8,000. We’ll be straight with you about what you need.
A focused identity project usually takes 4-6 weeks. A full brand system with naming and strategy is typically 8-12 weeks. We don’t do drawn-out discovery phases for the sake of it.
Yes and we’d recommend it. Building brand and website at the same time with the same team saves time, keeps the work consistent, and usually saves you money overall versus hiring two agencies.
Yes. We’re based in Leeds but our competitive socialising clients are national. King Pins, Roxy Leisure, none of them are Leeds businesses. Being able to come and visit a venue is always helpful, but we’re used to running projects remotely when needed.
