The Cat's Pyjamas

Bold flavours, bolder visuals

The Cat’s Pyjamas is an Indian street food and craft beer restaurant with three sites across Leeds, full of personality and not remotely interested in blending in. The brief was rooted in old Bollywood poster art: loud, colourful, completely its own thing. We were in.

Building the brand

Hot pinks, bold type, illustrated motifs and a tiger logo that means business. The identity leans hard into Bollywood aesthetics and carries through menus, merch, signage and social without losing any of its energy. It tells you exactly what you’re in for before you’ve sat down.

Bringing the website to life

The website is the brand in motion. Collage-style layouts, vivid colour, Devanagari script details and our own food photography throughout. It’s bold and fun to scroll, but the menu, the story and the ordering information are all exactly where they should be. It feels like the restaurant. Job done.

Results

The Cat’s Pyjamas has a brand, website, menus, merch and photography that all feel like one thing. The Bollywood-inspired direction sets them apart from everything else on the Leeds food scene. It’s a full creative package built for a restaurant that was never going to blend in, and it shows.
