Super Seconds Festival is a twice-yearly online sale that brings together more than 250 independent makers from across the UK (and beyond) to sell samples, seconds and end-of-line stock at significantly reduced prices. The festival needed a website that could support rapid seasonal launches, clearly present maker line-ups and essentials like wishlist and event details, while reflecting the creative spirit behind the community.
We designed and built a website that makes it easy for visitors to understand what Super Seconds Festival is, when it’s happening and how to get involved. Pages are structured around key information – line-ups, dates and deals – and stripped of unnecessary clutter so people can find what they need quickly. Strong visuals, clear navigation and a sense of pace help the site reflect the energy of the event each season.
Because the festival runs twice a year with different maker lists and details each time, we set up the site so the team can update it quickly and confidently. Whether they’re adding a new line-up, posting FAQs or promoting dates on social, the design and CMS structure gives them flexibility without sacrificing consistency or polish.
The site isn’t just about sale weekend itself. Features like maker line-ups, wishlist prompts and clear “how it works” guidance make it easier for shoppers to plan ahead, browse favourites and be ready when the event goes live. Fast, clear content helps the audience feel informed rather than overwhelmed.
In need of a new website? I can’t recommend Little Green Jesus enough! I loved them so much that I got them to design both of my new websites one after the other.
